November Staff Member of the Month

We’re so excited to recognize Phoenix as our Staff Member of the Month here at Crown Pointe Care Center!

Phoenix started with us as a night shift State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) and, believe it or not, this was her first job in healthcare. She never imagined how much she’d love being a caregiver, but now she can’t imagine doing anything else. She’s currently working on her LPN and is determined to keep growing in the nursing field—her passion for helping others is truly inspiring.

Her favorite part of the job? It’s all about making a difference for families and their loved ones, especially during the later stages of life. One of her most cherished memories here was bringing in her dog, Natsu (a sweet blue heeler), and seeing how much the residents enjoyed spending time with him. It’s those little moments that make all the hard work worth it.

When Phoenix isn’t caring for our residents, she’s busy being a mom to her two little ones—a 21-month-old daughter and a 3-month-old son. Her "ideal vacation" is a quiet night on the couch with her kids (and of course, Natsu!), or a fun trip to the dog park. She also loves to cook and always does her best to lend a helping hand to her fellow staff members.

Phoenix is one of those rare people who bring light, humor, and compassion wherever she goes. She’s learned to embrace the ups and downs of life, especially after the loss of both of her parents during the pandemic. Working with the elderly has given her a deeper appreciation for the wisdom they offer, and she takes every piece of advice to heart.

We’re so grateful to have Phoenix on our team. She’s a true asset to our Crown Pointe family, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything she’s accomplished. Please join us in congratulating Phoenix on being our Staff Member of the Month—you deserve it!
