Crown Pointe Carnival 2024

Crown Pointe Care Center’s annual carnival, held right here at our facility, was a fantastic success, filled with delightful food, engaging entertainment, and a strong sense of community. The event, which brought together residents, staff, and their families, was a true celebration of fun and togetherness.

From the moment the carnival began, the facility was buzzing with excitement. The aroma of hot dogs sizzling on the grill, popcorn popping, and lemonade being served created an inviting atmosphere. The Grater’s ice cream stand was a big hit, with flavors like black raspberry chip and peach making it the perfect treat for a sunny day.

A major highlight of the carnival was the Ohio Wildlife presentation. Residents and their families had the unique opportunity to get up close with live animals, including impressive birds of prey and charming small mammals. The wildlife experts provided fascinating insights into these creatures, making the presentation both educational and entertaining.

Adding to the day’s excitement was the magical performance by Ron Spangler. His show was a captivating mix of illusions and humor, with tricks that left the audience in awe. Both kids and adults were thoroughly entertained, and Ron’s performance added a special touch of wonder to the carnival.

The event was largely made possible thanks to Melanie, our dedicated Activities Director, who took the lead in setting up the carnival. Melanie’s hard work and creativity were evident in every detail of the day. From organizing the food and entertainment to ensuring everything was perfectly arranged, her efforts were key to the event’s success.

The managers at Crown Pointe also played a crucial role in the carnival’s success. Their support, whether it was helping with logistics or assisting with the various activities, ensured that everything ran smoothly and that all attendees had a great time.

As the day came to a close, it was clear that the carnival had been a huge hit. Residents left with smiles, families enjoyed quality time together, and everyone went home with lasting memories. We’re already looking forward to next year’s carnival, excited for new ways to bring even more joy and celebration to our Crown Pointe community!
