Meet Crown Pointe’s November Resident of the Month, Rebecca Meeker!

Rebecca, who also goes by Becky, has been a resident at Crown Pointe for just short of a year. She was born in Bridgeport, Ohio, on October 3rd, 1942 and lived in Bellaire, Ohio, for most of her life. Although she lived in the country, she did not like it. She enjoys the city much more! She eventually moved to Asheville before coming to Columbus.

While growing up, Becky wanted to become a Nurse. She wanted to give back to others and follow in the footsteps of her close family. Her favorite hobbies include gardening, socializing with friends and watching movies. Her favorite travel destination is St. Petersburg, Florida. Becky was married for over 40 years to her husband George, who has now passed. She also had one daughter named Penny, who has also passed. Throughout her life, Becky had multiple pets, but her favorite dog was a Pomeranian named Boo. Her favorite food is spaghetti, and her favorite color is blue! If Becky had one word of advice to give to her younger self, it would be, “Take it easy!”
